Cxbladder’s suite of tests is now available in a digital pathology platform
Digital pathology company Lumea has integrated Pacific Edge’s Cxbladder suite into its BxLink digital pathology platform.
Cxbladder is a suite of non-invasive genomic urine tests designed for the risk stratification and surveillance of urothelial cancer (UC).
BxLink is a ‘one-to-many’ interface, where a single integration makes Cxbladder available to every Lumea customer already using BxLink simultaneously with a single deployment,” said Pacific Edge CEO Dr Peter Meintjes.
By streamlining workflow, the tests prioritise time and resources based on where it is needed, increasing overall efficiency.
As BxLink is a digital pathology solution, the integration of Cxbladder into BxLink allows patients to request their tests digitally and allows providers to easily access the tests.
The suite will be especially useful for patients presenting with hematuria and those being monitored for recurrent non-muscle invasive bladder cancer.
“At Lumea, we’re thrilled to integrate Cxbladder into our advanced digital pathology platform, BxLink,” said Lumea CEO Jim Pack.
“By combining tissue handling with sophisticated AI tools and analytics, Lumea continues to deliver proven solutions to the industry.”
